This may be a strange question, but how did/do you get your wraps to stay on your legs? I'm cosplaying as Tali as well, but the wraps continue to slip down my legs as I walk. I tried once with velcro and then once actually sewing the pieces to themselves so they'd just dangle in theory, but...it just all slipped once my muscles changed shape as I walk.
took 7 months from start to finish - obviously that wasn't 7 months of continuous work... (Uni tends to think it should occupy more of my time than cosplay construction) but yeah, in short, it took a while >__<
I made models of my lower legs out of clingwrap and masking tape then filled them with paper. Once I had those, I put the boots on them (the black shoe bit at the bottom is separate to the silver leg armour) and then constructed the shape of the armour out of cardboard and masking tape, paper-machéd the whole lot and then used spray-on adhesive to make it harder and stronger. Then painted it all, made the knife for the left leg and put silver elastic straps and snap-clips on the back to fasten. There's actually a split down the back so I can get my legs in and out, its visible in the photo I've uploaded of the back of the costume ^_^
